100% of FIS teachers and staff received covid-19 vaccine
In response to the growing COVID-19 cases in the community, starting from this Tuesday, 27th July 2021, all students not graduating from FIS this December will shift to full Home-Based Learning (HBL) till further notice.
During this HBL period, inoculated FIS staff will be deployed to our FIS-sanctioned hostel to assist and monitor the students’ progress and well-being.
For those who will continue with on-campus classes, FIS will take the necessary measures such as ensuring Safe Entry check-in, temperature taking, frequent disinfecting of premises and high-touch surfaces and social distancing to safeguard the well-being of the FIS community.
To date, 100% of our FIS staff has already received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. By mid September, all FIS staff would have completed the vaccination regime. As there is continuing evidence that vaccination helps to prevent serious disease when one gets infected, FIS continues to promote vaccination among our students.
