Chinese New Year celebration

On 28th January, the school came together to celebrate Chinese New Year with a lively event featuring performances by the music, dance, and martial arts CCA groups. Students also took part in a Chinese New Year art and craft session, where they made dou fang – square-shaped decorations adorned with auspicious phrases commonly seen during the festival. These beautifully crafted decorations not only brightened the school environment but were also shared with the Red Crown Senior Living nursing home in Singapore. The decorations helped uplift the spirits of the elderly residents, bringing a festive and joyful atmosphere to their surroundings during the Chinese New Year celebrations.

To conclude the event, our Senior Principal, Ms. Li Wei, personally offered her blessings to the students with red packets, wishing them a smooth year ahead and success in their academic endeavours.
