Congratulations to our principal, Mr Marcus Clayton
We are thrilled to share the exciting news that our principal, Marcus Clayton, recently presented a paper at the prestigious International STEM Education 2024 Conference and received the ‘Best Paper Award 2024’.
This notable conference, organized by NTU/NIE, aims to gather researchers and educators from around the world, including keynote speaker Prof. Lyn English from Australia, to foster insightful discussions on the future of integrated STEM education.
Mr Marcus shared with us that his award-winning paper, titled “The Teaching of STEM in a Moral Sphere,” explores the integration of ethical considerations into STEM education. He believes that while young people often see science as a catalyst for societal change, ethics are crucial for ensuring that the decisions made about the future are well-considered and responsible.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Marcus for his outstanding achievement. His dedication and visionary approach have truly inspired us all at Furen International School, setting a remarkable example for educators everywhere.
