On August 30th, Mr. Bernard Goh gave an insightful talk titled “Communicating Across Cultures: How Should You Address Asians,” focusing on the importance of addressing people correctly in cross-cultural communication to enhance respectful interactions and prevent misunderstandings. The talk aimed to provide students with a deeper understanding of the cultural nuances in how people expect to be addressed across different Asian countries. The lessons learnt will help our students to communicate effectively in diverse cultural settings.
