Our very first chess competition ended last evening. Eight competitors pitted their skills against each other over the last two evenings. Zhang ZhongQi faced off with Jin Weifang in the final match and the latter emerged as the champion of the FIS Chess Competition 2020.

We were delighted to have Ms. Xu Fang, a former National Level (PRC) International Chess player with numerous years of competitive experience. She represented the Shanxi Provincial Team and won several inter-provincial competitions. Ms. Xu now calls Singapore her home. Ms. Xu shared her training and competing experience with our students while mingling with our students prior to the commencement of the competition.
