FIS Offers
Congratulations to Hou Xiyuan who has received an offer to read Psychology in the University College London (UCL). Ranked 8th on the QS World University 2020, UCL Psychology is ranked 7th on the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2020: Psychology.
Xiyuan came from Tangshan, China and joined Furen International School in 2019. He is known as an intelligent and hard-working student by his teachers while his peers find him a highly versatile and an active participant in FIS-organised activities. Xiyuan has a good eye for aesthetics and enjoys photography and singing. He is also passionate about returning to the society through volunteer works and has been to Cambodia twice as a volunteer teacher.
This young gentleman dreams big. He received offers from the University of Sydney and the University of Hong Kong last year with his AAAB A-level score. However, he was not satisfied with this achievement and decided to resit the exams. With 3A* and 1A under his belt, he is now well on his way to study at a prestigious university.
