The learning journey of green building and natural ecosystem
FIS Eco club students managed to learn the green building and natural ecosystem by observing the Oasia Hotel this morning.
Oasia Hotel is a standout example of biophilic design, a new type of tropical skyscraper that seeks to bring flora and fauna into the city. Together with 33 different species of trees, there are a total of 54 species of plants within the building that are able to support an ecosystem. Embracing living systems of lush greenery, the hotel is full of the features of absorbing heat, promoting fresh air and providing shade.
